I sold a dining table and 2 chairs on eBay this week and the man who bought it came to collect today. So I can now get my car in the garage again, where I had been storing the table, just in time to avoid fireworks landing on the top of the car.
I bought some beer today, 8 bottles of Old Speckled Hen. This Sunday the wife is going to see her family for 3 weeks, and I'll be running her down to Heathrow airport. Then when I get home, what could be better, I'll be ripping a bottle top off with my teeth, and settling down to watch Narridge v Ipswich live on Sky at 12:30pm.
It will be exactly 6 weeks since the last beer I had, I reckon it will go straight to my head. Come On Ipswich ! Do it for Marcus Evans.
