I flew home from my summer holiday today, having spent 2 weeks in Turkey. We had arranged our trip via Stanstead airport, but about half an hour from landing the Pilot informs all the passengers on the plane, we are landing at Manchester !
So I've had an unplanned coach tour of Moss Side, Birmingham and a service area on the M6, as the driver had to take a compulsory rest break, driving us back to Stanstead, great.

Welcome home No 5 - my fella is on a coach at this moment between Antalya Airport and Marmaris. They had to land at Antalya due to thunderstorms at Dalyan. His flight was also delayed he should have arrived at his hotel at around 2am - instead he is still about 4 hours away from it. Seems flying is a bit of a nightmare at the mo.
Hope the holiday was better than the unplanned detour. Shame you didn't land at Leeds/Bradford, the driver could have taken you on a detour to York to come say hi :-)
